Introduction
USB cables are now being used to transfer music from one device to another. This process is not just limited to iPods and iPhones, but can also be used on other MP3 players and mobile phones. Here are some instructions on how to do this:
1. Firstly, connect your USB cable to the computer. If you have a Mac, theMusic files should automatically show up in the Finder. If you’re using a PC, you’ll need to open My Computer and look for the drive that represents your phone.
2. Once you’ve found your music files, drag and drop them into the appropriate folder on your computer. If you’re using an iPhone, these will be located in the iTunes Library. If you’re using an iPod, they’ll be located in the My Music folder.
3. Once the files have been transferred, eject your device from the computer and disconnect the USB cable.

1. Plug your USB cable into your computer and iPhone.
2. Open iTunes on your computer.
3. Go to the “Devices” menu and select your iPhone.
4. Click on the “Music” tab and make sure the “Sync Music” box is checked. If you want to sync all of your music, select the “Entire music library” option. If you just want to sync selected playlists, artists, or genres, select the “Selected playlists, artists, and genres” option.

Step 1: Connect your iPhone to your computer
Before you can transfer your music, you need to connect your iPhone to your computer with a USB cable. Once it’s connected, your phone will appear as an icon in the upper-left corner of iTunes.
Step 2: Open iTunes
ITunes should launch automatically once your iPhone is connected. If it doesn’t, open the program manually. You can find it in your Applications folder on a Mac, or in the Start menu on a Windows PC.

Click the device icon in the upper-left corner of the iTunes window. If you don’t see the device icon, click the Device button in the upper-left corner of the iTunes window.
Click Summary.
Step 5: Click “Manually manage music and videos”
You’ll now need to restart your iPhone. After it powers back on, open the Settings app and tap on “Music.” On the next screen, tap on “Summary.” You should see a new option at the top of the Summary page that says “Manually manage music and videos.” Tap on that option to enable it, then click “Apply” in the upper-right corner of the screen.
Step 6: Click “Apply”
After you have made your selections, click the “Apply” button in the lower-right corner of the window. Your new settings will be applied to all future syncing sessions, meaning that you won’t have to go through these steps again unless you want to change something.
Step 7: Drag and drop your music files into iTunes
Assuming that you have your music files stored on a USB drive, follow these instructions to transfer them to your iPhone:
1. Connect your iPhone to your computer using a USB cable.
2. Open iTunes.
3. Select the device icon in the upper-left corner of the iTunes window.
4. Click on the Music tab in the left sidebar.
5. Make sure that the Sync Music option is selected.
6. If you want to sync all of your music, select the option to “Sync entire music library.” If you only want to sync certain playlists, select the “Selected playlists” option and then check off the playlists that you want to sync.
